Our Members

Our membership reflects the rich religious, ethnic, racial, and economic diversity of the greater New York City area.

Member’s Responsibilities

Membership brings with it both the reward of singing and some responsibilities, which fall into two categories: artistic and financial.

Artistic:

Financial:

To help meet such costs as engaging our conductor and our rehearsal pianist, producing our concerts, and renting rehearsal space, each chorus member assumes a certain financial responsibility. The Board of Directors of the Chorus has determined that we must raise $250 from each member, and to help members defray part of this obligation, has divided it into three parts as follows:

  1. Annual membership dues: $85
  1. Five tickets to the Winter concert @$15 each: $75
  1. Five tickets to the Spring concert @$15 each: $75

This way, the financial responsibility can be shared through the sale of tickets to our friends and relatives.

Payment schedules for membership dues can be arranged on an individual basis with the membership coordinator. Members also pay for their own scores which are provided by the Chorus at cost. Dues are prorated for members who join us in January.
