Chorus Administration

The Chorus administration is composed of the Conductor/Artistic Director and the Board of Directors.

The Conductor/Artistic Director

The conductor is the final authority in all artistic and musical matters.

The Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is elected from the membership by the members, and functions according to its bylaws. The Board’s monthly meetings are open to all chorus members, but voting is limited to Board members.

The duties of the Board include:

Hiring the conductor/artistic director
Preparing a budget and raising funds through dues, concert ticket sales, solicitation of ads for our concert programs, corporate solicitations, and other activities
Working with the conductor to plan the concerts
Seeing to it that everything runs smoothly for the benefit of all our members.
